I’m Kate Coldrick, a writer, educator and creative project-maker based in Woodbury, near Exeter in Devon. I create inclusive literacy and Functional Skills English resources designed to support autistic and neurodivergent learners, and I write about reading, creativity and place-based learning across several projects.

Through my website katecoldrick.com, I share practical teaching guides, workbooks, and articles on inclusive education. I also write more widely on LinkedIn and Medium, alongside creative work and photography on sites such as On the Skyline and Elswyth.

I’m passionate about reimagining how we teach English so that all learners – whatever their starting point – feel supported to succeed, and about celebrating the joy of reading and storytelling in its many forms.
