I am writing a second book about New England craft beer after my first book went out of print. It will be an update of What's Brewing in New England: A Guide to Brewpubs and Microbreweries, Down East Books, 1997.

I have an MFA in Creative Writing from the Stonecoast Writing Program at the University of Southern Maine, am a freelance writer. I am a recovering lawyer, recovering nicely! My kids are all grown and flown, and I miss them a lot. I keep busy at home with the book research, cooking with beer and blogging about it at:
