When I was younger, I volunteered as a "role player" for ATLS courses for physicians and surgeons. That's what started the moulage bug! I started working in health care in 2001, at a community hospital emergency department. Since then, I have graduated to verified trauma centers. As such, my casualty injury simulation experience has blossomed. Not only do I perform all injury simulation for our network's ATLS programs, I also perform CIS for mock prom crashes for our department's DriveSmart program. On top of that, I volunteer at a local university's center for national readiness, performing injury simulation for MASCALs, training exercises, and all around mayhem. Always learning, always improving, never satisfied!
