Actor and Teacher

Kate originally hails from Clarks Green, Pennsylvania - a small town outside the bustling metropolis of Scranton (pronounced Scran-en). She was bitten by the acting bug at summer camp when she sang her first solo, "Whistle a Happy Tune." She couldn't actually whistle at the time, so she hummed.

Kate went on to major in music at The Catholic University of America where she also had the opportunity to study classical acting, and directing, at the prestigious London Dramatic Academy.

Following her graduation from CUA, Kate stayed in the DC/Baltimore area where she sang in over 2000 performances, mentored hundreds of aspiring theatre students, appeared in over dozens of professional stage productions, and was asked to play the cello only once.

After three years, Kate relocated to Los Angeles where she received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from The University of Southern California, became a passionate advocate for marginalized voices and disability rights, and doubled down on her love of teaching couching, and mentoring young artist.

Kate now enjoys a career as an actor and educator. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actor's Equity, the Association of Theatre in Higher Education, and the American Alliance for Theatre and Education.

She has since learned how to whistle.
