Kate Idwasi is the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Special envoy on Technology, Previously she was the Regional Manager at Thunderbird School of Global Management's Regional Centre of Excellence, situated in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a highly qualified professional with a background in administrative support, Customer Service and Business Operations. She is skilled in processing a range of documents, developing and presenting reports, management of records and assessing needs for necessary recommendations.
Kate has been involved with several projects amongst them UNDP's Resilience Hub on Africa Leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution; The Kenya Innovation Week 2021, 2022 and 2023 ( Commonwealth Edition) the digital apprenticeship program supported by Thunderbird; Mastercard Foundation and Africa CDC Saving Lives and Livelihoods Vaccine Campaign amongst others.
She excels at scheduling, monitoring and supervising activities, organising events and supporting on-ground staff and operations.
Kate is ready to take on any task that comes her way, be it booking speaking arrangements for her executives to ordering of office supplies, she believes that every task requires keen attention to detail.
Outside of the office, Kate enjoys nature, traveling, fictional reading, cooking and swimming. She is also a talented singer.
