PROFESSION: I am currently a global communications and public affairs manager at Google, leading communications for Google+ and Google Apps. I have more than 7 years of public relations experience focused primarily on product and corporate communications for technology companies. Prior to joining Google in 2009, I served as a media relations specialist at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, managing press outreach for clients including AT&T, Avaya, Visa, MobiTV, and Sterling Commerce.
PASSION: I also have more than 7 years of experience developing philanthropic campaigns for youth and teens. At the age of 10, I created a fundraiser called Lemon-Aid, encouraging more than 10,000 youth in Tulsa, Oklahoma to help the city's less fortunate youth. Over 20 local, regional and national companies donated all the project supplies and more than $350,000 was raised over seven years, directly benefitting the children and families of Tulsa's Daycenter for the Homeless.
EXTRA-CURRICULARS: I'm currently on the board of directors for America's Charities. I previously served as president of the San Francisco/Marin chapter of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association and as a board member for the American Diabetes Association - Bay Area Chapter Gala. I was the youngest member to ever serve on the board of directors for Tulsa's Daycenter for the Homeless.
EDUCATION: I graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Society and Culture.
