Katelyn Casper
marketing assistant and Social Media Manager in Amherst, New Hampshire, United States
I grew up in Amherst, New Hampshire, a village that looks more like a Normal Rockwell painting than a modern town. I had a pretty amazing childhood, with summers spent camping along the Maine coast and winters spent skiing New England’s many peaks. Growing up, I was heavily influenced by my father, Michael Casper, who is the founder and CEO of Ultrasource Inc. I look to him for much of my professional inspiration. Having witnessed his perseverance in creating a successful company, I believe that watching him sparked my interest in growing brands from the ground up and lead to my pursuit of a career in marketing.
I left New Hampshire to study at Hendrix College, a hidden-gem of a liberal arts school located in Conway, Arkansas. While there, I worked with a board of professors to craft the college’s first-ever Consumer Behavior & Economics degree. Shortly after graduating summa cum laude, I relocated to New England.
I am always interested in learning about new digital, content, and social media marketing techniques. Having worked for two start-up companies, I enjoy working in a fast paced environment and within the growth atmosphere. Most recently, I worked in Interactive Acquisition for Bourbon & Boots—a southern lifestyle brand using innovative analytical techniques to grow their E-commerce based business.
Currently, I reside in a small town located in Southern New Hampshire. When not working, I can be found playing ultimate frisbee, putting a few miles on my running shoes, and hiking in the White Mountains.
