Excited. Nervous. Anticipating. I peeked through the open door. My eyes gazed across a sea of heads, all looking toward the center aisle. Soon I would step through the threshold and eyes would turn towards me. Waiting at the end of the aisle was the promise of a new adventure. I didn't know where it would take me, but I knew it was time to take the first step.
On August 24th, 2013 I married my husband Sean. With it came a flood of changes. I put aside my maiden name, adopting the last name Cohen. I said goodbye to my friends and family in Spokane, Washington. I packed up my belonging and relocated with Sean to Bellevue, Kentucky. The whirlwind of changes has been an adventure to say the least.
However, there is another door that I am waiting to walk through. With the relocation comes the need to find a new career opportunity. Having spent seven years working for an advertising agency in Spokane, I am skilled, but a little rusty on interviewing techniques. So, with excitement, nerves and anticipation I am knocking on doors. I have faith that soon, I will be invited to step through the threshold into a new career.
