Kate was educated at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where she received a Bachelor of Science in International Business at the AACSB-accredited School of Business and Economics. AACSB Accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Less than 5% of the world's 13,000 business programs have earned AACSB Accreditation.

Hired immediately after completion of her studies by the internationally renowned luxury goods company, Swarovski, she began work as the Content Coordinator of their lighting design and architecture division. A family-owned, Austrian-based company since 1895, Swarovski afforded her the opportunity to learn from a global network of experienced PR professionals.

At Swarovski, her responsibilities included, but were not limited to, public relations management, designer relations and support, product naming and copywriting, product loan coordination, content communications systems management (including social media, websites, newsletters), and brand positioning support.

Her personal work reflects her profound appreciation for people, life and culture. As an avid traveler, Kate has visited the welcoming countries of England, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Greece. She is currently based in New York, working as a freelance copywriter and PR professional.
