Kate Murtaugh

Attorney Kate Murtaugh currently employs her education and experience at St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin's Gionis Law Office, where she has worked since 2008. Serving people located in several counties throughout western Wisconsin, including Washburn, Polk, Burnett, and Dunn, among others, Ms. Murtaugh remains dedicated to solving problems in and out of the courtroom. In addition to seeing cases through to their resolution before judges and juries, she possesses in-depth experience with mediation. Kate Murtaugh holds membership in several professional organizations, including the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the American Bar Association. She also attained certification from the Wisconsin State Public Defender.

She also holds an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American. Ms. Murtaugh obtained her JD from Hamline University, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2008. When not working, she enjoys volunteering her time and financial resources for the United Methodist Church.
