I have never liked to talk too much about myself, being of the opinion that if someone wants to know something they will ask. I am however conscious that in this age of social media it is useful & sometimes interesting to know a bit about people that you interact with. I can't promise that this will be useful or interesting. I also never make promises (told you it wouldn't be interesting)
Born in 1973 and raised on a Farm in East Yorkshire, my favourite place in the whole world (Paris a close 2nd). My parents were and remain the best parents in the world & I don't know where I would be without them. They taught me so many things that equipped me for life which I didn't even realise until I was at least 21. I have a younger Sister and Brother with whom I remain very close. My best friend in the whole world is my cousin. My husband and I are living proof that if you want something badly and focus on it, you can have it. He didn't so much as notice me for 2 years. Eventually he gave in and came to live with me in Paris. I came home pregnant.
I only ever had one child, Robyn, born in 1996. I couldn't possibly love another child in the same way I love her. She is my world. The enormity of responsibility of having a child has never really left me and of all the hats I wear I hope I have worn and cared for this one the best.
I : Am incredibly positive/Have 2 speeds : 6th gear and park/Can feel the ability to survive on 4 hours' sleep slip away as I get older/Endeavour to live life to the full, not to expect too much of people and everything of myself/Am tough minded but tender hearted/Should stop worrying about "house perfect" and what others think of me, because I'll never control that/Love Shabby Chic/Don’t value material possessions but look after ‘things’ so that they last/Apologise. A lot. So much so it annoys me. I'm working on it on a daily basis/Love working on my home, relationships & am a loyal friend/Would take a bullet for my family and close friends and do all I can to protect them/Want to give more back to my community and to the world/Love Horses and Boxers having been brought up with both. Percy & Fergus current canines in residence/Dislike gossip, nastiness, nosiness, bullies, haters and bitching/Can’t feel jealousy, it is the most redundant emotion/Love Life
