I'm 28, was born and bred in the suburbs of a city in the middle of the UK, and am married to a very supportive man (thank goodness!) and have been since 2009. I'm a keen supporter of Coventry City FC (they're a soccer team if you're in the US) and I always have been - for all my sins!
Was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 11 and have struggled to live with it since. I've never been able to drive, my social life revolves around my family and friends who have children (I can't do late nights), and my job has also been decided by my epilepsy. Not everyone understands just how hard it is to life with both epilepsy and its side effects - not even I realised how hard adulthood would be when I was diagnosed.
