Kate Shopper
My name is Kate Shopper (yes, that is my real name – no one would make that up) and this is our blog. There’s not much point in me blogging by myself, so please, join the discussion and share your ideas on anything related to marketing, online marketing, social media and everything in between.
My background is in enterprise marketing, mainly in B2B. The opinions expressed here are (sadly) my own and are a reflection of me. Sigh. I’ve spent the last few years focusing on personalized digital marketing, web strategy, branding and more recently, social media. I am a little addicted.
I was born and brought up in a suburb of North London, something which allowed me to appreciate good music when played by others (I play the clarinet very badly), fine theatre and live in ignorant bliss of the fact that the food was terrible.
I was so very bad at maths, that there was no doubt that I’d go into anything but marketing and I have been doing that for over 20 years. In an ironic twist of fate, the importance of measuring and analyzing marketing activities over the last few years has taught me that you can really do anything if you set your mind to it.
