Kate Smaller

I was born in Torbay ... Paignton ... if that still doesn't ring it's in Devon, England where we all speak like Farmers. However, it wasn't South enough for the Smaller Trio and so I headed to a place no one knows ... Jersey. Don't believe what they say about the weather being like the tropics because it's just as rainy as Wales if I'm honest. After moving to Jersey in 1995 we picked a nice flat in the heart of Trinity ... but 1 house was not enough to live in for the next 17 years and as the Smaller Trio became 4 we moved 3 times and then when another baby appeared we were finally able to buy our very first house in St Lawrence.

School... where to start :D Well I went to the lovely and perhaps destructive school called Trinity where my fondest memory is waiting for a rainy day to then pour fairy liquid down the drains on the roof so that bubbles would pour over the play area. Yes, for those who know me now I am not who you think I am, I am a rebel at heart. However, this all changed when I took a very bizarre test to get into Jersey College for Girls (aka Jersey College for Geeks or JCG). The next 7 years changed me into a nice, proper girl who unfortunately did make the mistake of eating an m&m in the corridor, earning myself the very first conduct mark in the entire school.... i just couldn't let go of the rebel inside of me apparantly. Anyway, that conduct mark was to be the last of my mischeif ... well, that was until 6th form. Yes, I was in awe of myself. I had successfully managed to make it through 7 years of school (except for that one minor incident on day one) without driving the teachers mad. This was to come to an end on the very last day when a large group of us decided to settle a certain ... disagreement with the boys at the school opposite. And so off we headed with toilet paper, cling film and a few disney transfers in our cheeky hands to the boy's cars. The boys were not impressed.

And now I am off to Uni. I shall attempt to supress the rebel for another 3 years, but who knows!
