Hey I'm Kate, and I absolutely adore traveling. Ever since I was little, I was lucky enough to travel to England every summer because I have two english parents. This allows me to be a dual-citizen in both the United States and the United Kingdom. I could use this in the future to live anywhere in Europe. A few of my favorite places in the world include Paris, Portugal, London, and Barcelona. However, my favorite trip I've ever been on was this past Spring Break, when a group of my friends and I went on a mission trip to Bulgaria through my school. I have been to Europe many times, but this was the first time I traveled to Eastern Europe. Bulgaria was full of poverty, but still very beautiful. It was beautiful because of the natural scenery, but mostly because of the amazing people I met there. They were living in a country that has very little, yet the people were still happy and joyful. Spending a week learning about life in Bulgaria made me very thankful for my life here in the states. Still, I cannot wait to travel back there and throughout the rest of the world to learn more about different cultures.
