Several years spent selling and leasing retail real estate led me to a realization. The part I loved most about my job was the beginning of the process; the research and collection of information, and subsequent assembly of marketing collateral. I delighted in examining all aspects of a property, determining the appropriate message, and how it should be presented to the intended audience. It was a thrill to figure out what words and information would make it shine above the others.

The challenge of telling a story, of conveying a message concisely and efficiently (I love nothing more than efficiency) is attractive to me. Distilling material down to its most essential pieces in order to transmit it effectively and simply is to me, as da Vinci said, “the ultimate sophistication.”
I’m known for the ability to figure out any problem – I actually enjoy assembling IKEA furniture. I have a knack for simplifying complex situations. I’m a great proof-reader and because I like patterns, I’m easily able to see flaws in consistency. It’s in my nature to want any brand and messaging to be streamlined and logical.

I am collaborative, results-oriented, introverted, methodical, and what I call
‘creative-lite’. I love drinking coffee and wine (not at the same time), reading fashion blogs and novels (again, not at the same time), hiking with my dogs, early dinners and a good thunderstorm.
