Kate Wei

France, Paris

I am Kate, an American interactive designer, artist, and a former New Yorker living in France. Before moving to France I worked for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network (Dow Jones & Co.) in New York City, where I worked on WSJ Mobile, MarketWatch and WSJ.com and led UX design effort for Barrons Online & Barrons on iPad. My 15 years of experience up to my time at WSJDN has sharpened my skills and fine-tuned my practices of bringing digital content onto multiple platforms in a dozen languages to millions of users around the world. To live happily ever after with the love of my life, I left the island of Manhattan, quit my job at WSJDN and moved to France in 2013. I run my own design practice Madame Levasseur. You can also find my work on Etsy.
