Kate Whitehouse DO

Recognized for her medical work in an academic setting, Kate Whitehouse, DO, has received several awards and honors over the course of her career. While she was a resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, she took second place on Resident Research Day. The medical students she taught at Baylor also voted Kate Whitehouse, DO, the best Ob/Gyn resident teacher, for which she received the Resident Teaching Award. Earlier, at the University of Maryland, where she earned a BS in in neurobiology and physiology, Dr. Whitehouse earned a Presidential Scholarship for her commitment to academic excellence and was named a College Park Scholar in the life sciences program.
Kate Whitehouse, DO, is presently attending the University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine and pursuing a master of clinical science research. In addition to her formal training, she has gained considerable professional experience on an international scale as a women’s health provider with the Himalayan Health Exchange in Himachal Pradesh, India, and as a quality assurance monitor with the Society of Family Health in Zambia.
