I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend.

I believe you can never own too many books. Tea solves most problems and dulls the pain of the others. Grace, wisdom, a sense of humour and good food shared with others are the keys to the good life.

I write because I must. I read because I can. I love because it makes me whole.

I grew up in California, once called England home, long for my alternative home in the cranky, beautiful south, and currently reside in Maine.

I once did a lot of things but now I am just me: history geek, bibliophile, writer, lipstick lover, fresh air fiend, Daughter of the Universe.
