Katherine Campbell

Katherine Campbell is an experienced performer and improviser, based in Edinburgh, who provides keyboard music for a variety of events and celebrations, either as background music, for sing-alongs, or for a concert situation or corporate event. Her repertoire includes all the favourite tunes and songs from Scotland. In addition, she is a versatile musician who can cover other styles and genres on request (pop, country, folk, Christian, Irish traditional). She has extensive experience of playing in ceilidh and folk bands, of accompanying traditional singers, of playing for church services, and of deputising for other musicians. Katherine has performed throughout the UK and internationally. Member of Musicians' Union; studied cello and piano, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, 1989-1993 (BA Hons, Musical Studies, 1993, University of Glasgow).
