Katharina Ludwig

Berlin, Germany

Journalist, Berlin

I report on local social issues like education, health care and employment. I am interested in everyday life in the city and how it is connected to what’s happening worldwide.

People from Berlin are often in the center of my work. So occasionally a school girl will pick my hair while I am taking notes, I'll find myself in a rowing boat or searching a trucker loading zone for my interview partner.

Work published in: Der Tagesspiegel, Wiener Zeitung, taz. die tageszeitung, PNN, ZEIT Österreich, arte Radio, rbb Kulturradio, fluter.de, Missy Magazine, an.schläge, kulturrisse, MALMOE, the gap. Contributions to anthologies on city culture and city politics and a Vienna city guide, masterthesis on Sans-Papiers. Tiny posts everytime Berlin is incredibly funny again.
