Katharine Trauger

I know where I am!

I’ve been a mom for a long, long, time. I have six grown kids, homeschooled for a quarter-century.

I love to cook, from scratch, the food that we have raised, ourselves. You know, the new rage: slow food, art food, even some paleo–like my Granny before me . . .

But I know how to do modern, too. It’s just that modern is boring, which is why it changes almost weekly.

I love sewing, cake decorating, and making my own herb products, too.

And laughing. And music. And games. And old movies with popcorn.

I drive a Ford truck. Don’t worry, it’s brand-spankin’ new and jazzed up just enough that I have to drive slow in town–but it sure beats a mini-van for parking, hauling, and losing it in a crowd!

More than half the time I’ve been a writer for women’s and home-school magazines. Did a stint with a newspaper, too.

I speak often on all sorts of topics related to womanhood and the deliberate, artful managing of a home in this wrecked world, helping women find the answers they need.

I hope I can help you find answers, too. I’m happiest when I’m teaching and helping, whether in writing, one-on-one, or in group settings, so do not hesitate
