I have been a piano teacher for twenty (20) years now. Of the twenty, I have taught ten years in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) system. My students have been one of the top students in their international examinations (both in Music theory and practice). Throughout last couple of years, all of my students had passed their examinations with distinction and merit grades.

I teach at the Russian-Tanzanian Cultural Centre. The students I have taught are from many backgrounds and are of many ages. They all share an enthusiasm for music during the classes and quite enjoy their experience.

Some of the students studying in high school use the ABRSM examination certificates for applications to universities. This has proved that their results both aid in the improvement of their experience in creativity and art, as well as increase their chances of being accepted. Student CV's containing this prestigious certificate are quite rewarding as it shows their international participation and creativity that makes them perfect candidates to top educational institutions.

Parents not only bring their children for the purpose of educational advantage to universities but also for the emotional discipline. Having an extra-curricular advantage with music practice and theory allows the children to increase their creativity as well as increase their personal emotional discipline.

All lessons are through a studied approach. One lesson is one hour (1 hr) and is divided into thirty minutes of individual practice (on an upright piano) and thirty minutes of theory (writing). This allows the learners to get their full attention without getting bored. Furthermore, it allows the students to learn both the playing and the writing of music - two arts at once.

Each lesson is $25 and each student has his/her own timing according to a timetable set up from Monday to Sunday. Music lessons are also available during public holidays as this is one of the most convenient of times when there is no work or school.
