Katherine Bagley
Katherine Bagley is a freelance journalist and editor who covers science, the environment, culture, and politics. Her print and multimedia work has appeared in Popular Science, InsideClimate News, Audubon, OnEarth, The Scientist, and YouBeauty, among other publications. Katherine's reporting has brought her from abandoned islands in New York City's East River and the Philadelphia studio of a forensic facial reconstructionist, to Patagonia's glaciers and East Africa's national parks. She also teaches science journalism to undergraduates at Barnard University.
Katherine holds master's degrees in journalism and earth and environmental sciences from Columbia University. She currently lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York with her husband, Colin.
