I recently submitted my master's thesis on the use of Twitter by political candidates during the 2014 elections in Quebec. Although my main research focuses on social media, political communication, e-democracy, political marketing and the public sphere, I've also dabbled in agism in comic books, fan studies, women's studies and gamification.

Fun fact: academic research has actually led to my learning to code (who would have thunk, eh?) in my spare time.

When I don't have my nose in books/my laptop, I'm usually running, rockclimbing, baking gluten free goodies or playing a Bach sonata.
