Kat Correa is a freelance interior designer and an advocate of heritage conservation. She finished Interior Design from DLS-College of St. Benilde and the Philippine School of Interior Design. She took up her Masters of Architecture from University of the Philippines College of Architecture. She is currently a part-time lecturer at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde School of Design and Arts under the Architecture Program and Mapua University under the Interior Design Program.

As a designer, she is passionate in the splendor of the past and gets inspiration with everything that is art and nature. A visually inclined person possessing a strong passion and appreciation for design and detail. Her vision for architecture and design is somewhat rooted in the Filipino culture. She believes that a designer should understand and celebrate the components of Architecture and its interior-- the spirit of the space and the materiality of it– which will become poetry, a poem that speaks from the heart, and transcends to the memories of the next generations.
