Katherine is a student at Union University who is currently studying public relations along with history and photojournalism. As an active participant of Union’s Honors community, Phi Alpha Theta, and the Rutledge Honorary History Club, her involvement on campus extends to several different areas. She also serves as a tutor for elementary school children.

Born in China, Katherine was adopted and raised in West Tennessee with her parents and younger sister. A country girl at heart, she enjoys going home on the weekends and spending time with her family on their "100 Acre Wood" farm.

With a passion to serve Christ and people, she hopes to use her major and her ISFJ personality as an opportunity to build personal relationships with others while using social media to communicate hope and encouragement to the world.

When she is not writing papers, you can often find her behind the camera or diving into a book. One of her biggest aspirations is to start her own photography business and write some kind of deep, philosophical book. She also enjoys savoring the little things such as writing letters, drinking smoothies and watching movies.
