Katherine Denler is a Chicago based harpist with 15 years of performance experience. A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Katherine is most passionate about connecting people with the harp: through teaching, community outreach, performance, and her day job at Lyon & Healy Harps. Working as a national sales manager puts Katherine in contact with aspiring and established harpists across the world. Katherine is also a doctoral candidate in Harp Performance and Literature (DMA) at Michigan State University, and completed her coursework in 2016. Katherine's doctoral research focuses on lessor known pedagogical harp compositions of the 19th century.
