Katherine Anne Erickson

I am a writer, reader, and explorer who lives in a converted school bus in the Washington Cascades with my husband. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation and I have worked as a whitewater rafting guide, ski instructor, and youth adventure guide.

On my blog, I share my passion for deep, local, simple adventure via trails, rivers, lakes, and gardens as well as global and even cosmic exploration through books, art, music, and theology.

I write character driven fiction with an outdoor adventure setting in which I delve into both the dark side of outdoor recreation, adventure travel, and extreme sports as well as the possibility for redemption found in those same activities.
