Katherine Gehl

As president & CEO at Gehl Foods, Inc., Katherine Gehl expresses her considerable business acumen in bringing about continued growth and development for the food manufacturing company, which was founded by her family in 1896. Katherine Gehl graduated from the University of Notre Dame and went on to obtain a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, one of the foremost institutions of business learning in the United States.

Ms. Gehl worked in management with Gehl Foods before accepting a position as director of organizational development with Oracle. Later, she worked as director of information technology services for Chicago Public Schools and as special assistant to the mayor for technology and economic development for Chicago.

As a testament to her commitment to excellence in business. Ms. Gehl has received a number of awards and commendations throughout her career. Recently, she received a nomination from President Barack Obama, and was confirmed by the US Senate, to take a place on the board of directors for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Furthermore, she was listed among the Who’s Who in Chicago Business.
