Katherine Getts

Grew up in a rural New Hampshire town which led to a passionate interest for the outdoors and environmental sciences. This helped develop my current college path to pursue a BS in Natural Resources Management, with a minor in Sociology/anthropology. My minor reflects my diverse interests and skill sets, from communications and language to human ecology and psychology. as well as general public relations skills. Additionally, the arts have always been dear to me, from graphic design and photography to performing arts and video production. Although not a part of my major, these latter interests (namely video production) remain serious current, and developing hobbies of which I hope to diffuse into my professional life. I have experience in these fields, as well as general management, GIS, volunteer coordination and non-profit work, newspaper journalism, as well as scientific research. Personally, I enjoy backpacking and sports, food, and a good conversation
