Katherine Korakakis is a startup junkyard, education advocate, and community leader dedicated to fostering innovation and driving meaningful change. As President of the English Parents' Committee Association of Quebec (EPCA), she plays a pivotal role in shaping educational policies and ensuring the voices of English-speaking parents are heard at all levels of government.

With a deep passion for entrepreneurship and startup growth, Katherine has spent her career supporting founders and emerging businesses. She led entrepreneurial initiatives for a decade under the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, a program of Quebec’s Youth Secretariat aimed at changing the culture of Quebec. Currently, she serves as Head of Entrepreneurship at ProMontreal Entrepreneurs (PME), a mentor-driven accelerator and early-stage fund that has been fueling startup success for over 25 years.

Katherine is also Vice-President of PME MTL Centre-Ouest and an investment committee member for PME MTL Centre and PME MTL Centre-Ouest, where she plays a key role in guiding funding decisions and scaling high-potential ventures. As Vice-President of the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN), she champions the rights of Quebec’s English-speaking communities, driving policy discussions and leading impactful community initiatives.

Beyond her leadership roles, Katherine is a strong advocate for women in STEM. She co-founded Glambition, a program designed to introduce young girls to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, inspiring the next generation of innovators. She has also authored and co-authored entrepreneurship education guidebooks and has served on the boards of numerous corporations, providing strategic insights on business development and governance.

With a proven track record in entrepreneurial leadership, education advocacy, and community empowerment, Katherine continues to be a driving force in Quebec’s business and educational landscapes.
