Katherine Kotaw is a song lyric mangling, dog loving, iced tea guzzling CEO and entrepreneur who draws inspiration from the words of Dr. Seuss, the spunkiness of Mary Tyler Moore and the wardrobe of That Girl’s Ann Marie.

Katherine Kotaw is the founder, spirit and Chief Storyteller of KOTAW Content Marketing, a Los Angeles-based boutique content marketing agency specializing in branding through storytelling.

KOTAW Content Marketing is a Mother-Daughter-Daughter-Pit team, spearheaded by CEO Katherine Kotaw.

KOTAW Content Marketing is the culmination of over 20 years’ experience in journalism, marketing and business.

KOTAW Content Marketing was built from the memories, experiences and stories collected by Katherine Kotaw throughout her career, which has included an apprenticeship with advertising legend Stephen Frankfurt, covering the Olympics as a journalist and writing two bestselling books.

The Globe and Mail hailed Katherine Kotaw’s memoir, Quicksand, “Book of the Year.” Quicksand was written under Katherine’s pen name and was published by HarperCollins.

Katherine Kotaw’s “brave,” “honest,” “story of triumph” inspired the Lifetime movie, Run For Your Life, starring Amy Smart.

The NO MORE PSA Campaign, lead by the Joyful Heart Foundation and directed by Mariska Hargitay, partnered with Lifetime to premiere Run For Your Life in October 2014 in support of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Katherine Kotaw’s second book, a business parable also written under a nom de plum and published by Penguin, was named to the New York Times Best Sellers List Hardcover Business Books.

Fueled by dark chocolate almond clusters and an unwavering lifelong passion for words, Katherine spends her days creating branding magic through the power of storytelling.
