Katherine Martell

Katherine Martell holds responsibilities as managing attorney with FirstPoint Law Group, P.C., prior to which she served as founder and principal with K+M Law Group, LLP. Experienced in complex litigation matters, she has provided effective advocacy services that resulted in significant verdicts and settlements. Katherine Martell also provides dedicated defense counsel in matters encompassing commercial disputes, criminal charges, domestic relations, and personal injury.

Ms. Martell’s representative cases with Firstpoint Law Group include a $1 million liquid assets divorce settlement that was achieved without trial. Representing a business client in court, she achieved a jury verdict of non-liability for fraud. She also helped a client recover money after being fired when she took a leave from work to receive chemotherapy.

Katherine Martell earned her J.D. cum laude at the American University’s Washington College of Law. Prior to establishing K+M Law Group, she practiced with a major international law practice’s finance and corporate group.
