Born and raised in the Atlanta suburbs by two loving parents, I was lucky enough to grow up in a home that encouraged selfhood and creativity. Although I define myself primarily as a writer and can trace that identity back to my formative years, I have always nursed a certain love for art and design. I carried my desire to create with me to the University of Georgia, where I graduated cum laude with a Degree of Arts in English in May 2016. During my last year I began as an editorial intern with the University of Georgia Press. There I discovered in publishing a passion that has since guided my career choices carrot and stick.

Recently I completed my internship with the Press and began a career with EBSCO Research, LLC. I am thrilled with my position on the creative team at EBSCO, and after work hours I continue to accept freelance jobs and edit/design book covers for A. K. Clarke Editing.
