As an undergraduate studying microbiology and business, I had no intention of making a career in the restaurant business when Buddy Clay hired me in 2007 to wait tables at the Augusta Grill. Steadily broadening my repertoire from waiting tables to managing to making desserts, over the years I fell in love with both the restaurant business and my husband/executive chef Taylor Waldrep.
