A precocious reader as a child, Katherine evolved into a voracious bibliophile with a predilection for extravagant tragedies. Later, this love for storytelling transferred into writing. There her imagined worlds expanded and shrank at will, but humanity’s redeeming qualities remained constant.

Always gifted for painting the bleakest, but most inspiring scenes, Katherine is also drawn to explore “lighter” subjects when producing and developing documentary projects, which focus on art, culture and science.

These days, she develops and sources new ideas to bring engaging digital factual and scripted content to screen.

When all want to abandon ship, she fuels passion in others with her audacity and untiring perseverance. By creating bold television with a strong message, she still hopes, even as a cynical Gen-Xer, to change the world for the better.
