Show Jumping Rider and Occupational Therapy Student in Queensland, Australia
A successful show jumping rider, Katherine has trained and competed horses for 20 years. Katherine represented Australasia at the World Children’s Jumping Final in California, being ranked 7th in the FEI World Children's rankings, this is Katherine's #1 passion in life. In 2008 she fractured her pelvis and ankle, bringing her olympic aspirations to a grinding halt. She struggled with depression throughout her final years of high school and yearned to go back to her former equestrian lifestyle.
However, it was not to be. Instead, Katherine turned her attention to rebuilding her life. At 18 years of age she sold her team of horses, purchased her first investment property and begun working several part time jobs. Over the last 7 years Katherine has built a solid investment portfolio. She has a wealth of knowledge about finance, investing, health, fitness, and positive psychology.
Katherine is currently studying Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Central Queensland University, working part time, competing in long distance running events and supporting Heart Research Australia as a #REDFEB ambassador - Katherine has been described as a 24 year old who personifies 'making the most out of life'. She is enjoying using her knowledge and experience to help people change their lives.
