I am an adventurer, storyteller, and creator. I have always craved adventure, growing up I always pretended I was inside a Nancy Drew novel, my curiosity has always overtaken me which today translates to a need for travel and the willingness to always go out of my comfort zone. When I was little I would “pretend read”, the term my family commonly used to make fun of me, but better known as storytelling. Growing up I wrote short stories, the newest gem my mom has found is “100 of the sketchiest things” (no points on creativity on the title). The UNC Journalism School has helped me hone in my two passions of adventure and storytelling to become a creator. Today, I use my experiences and skills paired with creativity which helps to always look at a project with a unique eye. I hope to make a career out of my passions with the end result of having helped others.
