A poem "Music" by Katherine Zakas 8/5/12
Music makes your heart sing. The pace can make you dance. Melodies, rythem and sound move you and change your mood. Could be classical, pop and rap are all great, it's a fact. Orchestras can bring a movie to emotional strings. The violin, guitar, cello, viola, harp and lyre are cords that project a twang. A vibration pitch which none can deny causes the ears to hum, buzz and croon like Bing. Drums keep a beat which the feet respond in tap, tap, tap. Pianos, organs, ukuleles, and accordions will make your spine move. Fast, slow, sonata, lyrics, ballads, arias, lilt, a little ditty, or a folksong, spiritual or gospel whatever you fancy be... take it to the max... Music is universal, everyone likes one kind or another. But if you're like me the sounds of a melody move me. Hope it moves you too. Enjoy the strums of the strings, the vibration that chill or warm the heart. Give your soul a bit of inspiration and listen to some kind of music or make your own...
