Prolific & Transformational HR & People Leader | 38 Years Driving Culture, Engagement & Operational Excellence | “Gift of Connection” as My Leadership Superpower
🦋Greetings, I’m Katheryn Rodda of Vegas, Nevada , United States. I'm a transformational HR & People Leader with decades of proven success across Fortune 500, retail, logistics, manufacturing, & distribution. While my path has been non-traditional, my nearly 4-decade career & life experiences is my degree. I’m self-made. I built my expertise thru hands-on leadership & HR experience. Every step taught me something critical: how to navigate union negotiations without conflict, how to lead employees thru closures & change with dignity, how to launch complex systems like Workday while keeping engagement high are a few examples. Those lived experiences became my education. They taught me resilience, adaptability, & how to connect with people at every level. Today, I bring not just knowledge, but wisdom that only comes from actually doingthe work. Throughout my career, I learned by doing. I have grit, resilience, EI, & the ability to lead 100s of people thru real world challenges. My superpower truly is connection: I build trust by truly listening, making people feel heard, & turning individual strengths into organizational performance. I’ve led large-scale operations & guided teams thru cultural transformations always with empathy, resilience, & measurable results. I’m now seeking a stable, values-driven organization where I can create long-term impact, support leaders, & help both the business & its people thrive. I attribute my superpower as the foundation of my success. I have the ability to make connections with disparate phenomena, whether it’s between people, business goals, or cultural dynamics. I see patterns others might overlook, & I use that gift to make employees feel heard while aligning their strengths with organizational needs. This ability has helped me transform organizations, resolve complex employee relations issues, & build trust across all levels of leadership. What motivates me most as a leader is helping others be their best version of themselves. One of the things I’m most proud of in my career is the number of people I’ve mentored & helped grow. Because I’m self-made, I know firsthand the value of someone believing in you & giving you opportunities. I’ve coached emerging leaders on consistency & engagement. I’ve watched them become confident, effective leaders & rise to corporate executives. I’ve guided employees thru tough changes & helped them land on their feet. For me, HR isn’t just about policies or compliance; it’s about building people up so they can succeed in their careers & contribute their
