I have a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. However, I did not do number crunching, my research utilized oral history interviews to explore the interaction between identity and women professional accountants.

Putting my audit and research skills to work in genealogy, I am currently working on the Certificate in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies through the University of Strathclyde.
