Hey there, I’m Kathie. I’m a teacher living in Riverside CA. I am a fan of cycling, running, and education. I’m also interested in knitting and hiking.

I have been teaching at Raincross High School for the past seven years. This is a continuation high school. I am primarily a math and science teacher, but because I am at a continuation school, I also help my students with social studies and English.

We also have our students take a digital literacy class yearly. Digital literacy is of vital importance in the 21st century. A digital presence is the presence that we leave behind. We need to be aware of leaving a positive digital footprint, and show our students how to do this as it shapes our online presence.
