Kathleen Fisher

Hi everyone, I'm Kathe. I live in Bradenton, Florida, famous for being one of the great places to vacation. It's a cool place to live. We have world class seafood here, and lots of fun things to do for kids of all ages.

I'm originally from New Jersey. My husband is from Warsaw, Indiana. We have two cute doggies, a multipoo named Sophie, and a Yorkipoo named Skono. I have two gorgeous daughters - Michelle, who is mom to my grandbaby Maddie, and who is expecting her second, and Therese, who just graduated from high school.

I blog about food, and crafts, a bit about Florida and some of my special interests, like Special Olympics, where me and my husband volunteer. We both volunteer with the kids at our church as well.

As I grow older, I'm finding that I want to live more simply, and I'm finding that I would like my blog to reflect this lifestyle change. I'm starting to explore the idea of intentional living. I think this idea is unique for everyone, and I want to find out what it's going to look like for my life.

This is what I know is most important to me: To love and serve others, be generous, show mercy and kindness, and to walk in obedience to God. I want to treat myself kindly, but not selfishly. I want to share what knowledge I've gained through the years with others.

I'll be posting as often as I can. My husband is not well, and a lot of my time is taken up with caring for him right now. And, as you know, he has to come first above all else.
