I love to crochet and to read Literature, especially European Literature and American Literature pre-WWII. I majored in Literature and once considered becoming a professor. However, after carefully scrutinizing the expense of pursuing a PhD and the probable result, I decided against it. It has been one major decision in my life that I have not lived to regret. I am however in the middle of a career shift and started back to school in fall 2012 to earn a B.S. in Health Information Administration. Because I very much love Literature still, at times I will post about a novel, story, and/or movie/television series on this blog. I also love crocheting and would like to document my progression. I have only been crocheting on a regular basis for a short while now. I am a mother of two daughters and grandmother of three. My oldest daughter passed away unexpectedly in September 2013. I am raising her three children. Sometimes, I write to her on my other blog. I would like to buy her a very nice headstone for when her children and family visit her grave site. I have a GoFundme account. To my teenaged daughter and grandchildren, I am a totally fetch and hip mother/grandmother. /wink. I will hike anywhere with trees. I am also a U.S. veteran and I can never forget mentioning the husband that makes my career shifting and crocheting possible. I hope you will enjoy my blog.
