Hi! My name is Kathleen Roote and I live in Dallas, Texas although I am originally from the Western New York area. I have worked for Aon Hewitt since 2011 and am a sourcer/recruiter on behalf of Forest City Enterprises based in Cleveland, Ohio. Forest City is a leading owner, operator, and developer of distinctive and diversified real estate projects in the US.
When not finding talent for Forest City, I love to create fused glass pieces. I have a little workshop in my (very hot in the summer) garage, and sell to friends, online on Etsy and at small art shows in the area.
I also am a board member and volunteer for a small organization in Dallas called Hearts Across Romania that helps children and families in the Brasov, Romania area. I have travelled to Romania many many times and love the people and beauty of Romania. The smiling face of a child who receives a new pair of shoes for the first time in their lives will change your life.
