As an addiction medicine physician, Kathleen Whaley, MD, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for chemical dependency at Conifer Park in Glenville, New York. She draws on experience working within a variety of addiction treatment models, including MAT as well as detox, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. Kathleen Whaley, MD, built much of this experience as a staff member at Sycamore Springs Hospital, initially joining as a psychiatric hospitalist.

Kathleen Whaley, MD, has also served in the MAT outpatient program at Serenity Medical Center and as a physician with Fairbanks Hospital's Clearvista Recovery Associates. She began working in addiction medicine as part of the methadone/buprenorphine clinic at the Indianapolis Treatment Center in Indiana.

Earning her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Kathleen Whaley, MD, went on to complete an internship at Albany Memorial Hospital and a residency at Methodist Hospital Emergency Medicine. She is board-certified in addiction medicine as well as emergency medicine and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Addiction Medicine's national and Indiana chapters.
