Kathryn Murdoch

Kathryn Murdoch is co-founder of the Quadrivium Foundation and co-chairs both the Communications and Oceans committees as a Trustee of the Environmental Defense Fund. She has written and spoken about how the current trajectory of global fisheries closures can be reversed with the right policies in place.

She is the former Director of ReSource 2012, http://www.reversethefuture.org/discussions/ an investor conference focused on the judicious use of natural resources, and Visiting Fellow of the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment at Oxford.

Prior to this, she was a Senior Director at the Clinton Climate Initiative. http://www.clintonfoundation.org/our-work/clinton-climate-initiative She was in charge of strategy and communications, and managed CCI 's partnership with Microsoft in the development of a global greenhouse gas emissions tracking software. She was also Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Before joining CCI in 2006, she held a variety of senior positions in marketing, communications and business development, primarily in the fashion and online media arenas.
