Kathryn Wied

Kathryn Wied is a sophomore student attending Texas Tech University it Lubbock, Texas. She is pursuing a double degree in management and marketing. Both semesters she has been recognized on the President’s list. She has worked as a reservationist at Raft Masters Inc. (Cañon City—2012) and is currently employed as cashier at Walmart (Lubbock—current). In these customer service positions, Kathryn has developed an understanding of working with customers and familiarized herself with the foundation of each business. Over the summer she hopes to study abroad in Rome followed by a semester in England in order to gain an international perspective of marketing and business management. Following her study abroad, she hopes to secure an internship to apply what she’s learned and garner real-world experience.
