Currently a junior Fashion Merchandising major at the University of Delaware, I look for every opportunity that I can take advantage of to learn more about the industry. Through retail jobs at Gap and OshKosh, an internship at a boutique called Simply Dressed, and volunteering at Oscar de la Renta, I’ve been able to learn invaluable information since entering college.

Not being able to imagine myself in any other field because of my specific intentions and interests, my ultimate goal is to work at a fashion publication. I am working towards that by volunteering with various magazines including UDress, where I work as the Executive Editorial Assistant, and Beyond the Stage, where I am a writer. Both of these positions are different from each other and expose me to different sections of the magazines, allowing me to learn while simultaneously working on projects that I love.

When I’m not in class or working on my responsibilities throughout these publications, I’m likely to be found lounging around with my friends, screaming at a concert, or sitting quietly working on my next creative project. But, no matter my noise volume, my hopes for my future are always centered around this fast-paced, ever evolving industry.
